Excel Spanish offers Spanish tutoring services focused on preparation for the different Spanish exams such as (I)GCSE, IB, and DELE for children, teenagers, and adults.

Excel Spanish is an online academy founded by teachers. We are the only online Spanish academy focused on Spanish exam preparation: (I)GCSE, IB, and DELE exams for adults and, DELE ESCOLAR for young learners.

Our mission is to offer one-to-one and small group (2-4 students) Spanish tutoring to help students improve their skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening, enabling them to achieve their full potential and reach a high score in the Spanish exams.

Our team of Spanish teachers is our greatest asset. Founded by qualified Spanish teachers and examiners, Excel Spanish implements a rigorous selection process during hiring. This ensures:

  • All of our teachers are certified Spanish teachers by the Cervantes Institute.

  • All of our teachers have served as IGCSE, AB INITIO Spanish examiners.

  • All of our teachers have participated in at least three DELE exam seasons as examiners of DELE ESCOLAR and DELE for adults (A1 to C2 level).

  • Have extensive experience teaching Spanish and preparing for the Spanish exams in different countries at international schools and language academies.

About me

Hola! I am Mercedes, the founder of Excel Spanish, I am a native teacher with over 10 years of teaching experience. I have lived and worked in various countries, including the UK, Thailand, Brazil, China, and Hong Kong, which has provided me with a deep understanding of Spanish teaching and learning in diverse cultural contexts. 

I had successfully guided numerous students to achieve top grades in their exams, specializing in IGCSE, IB, as well as DELE exams for both adults and Young Learners which took me to expand my career and create Excel Spanish.
